Tuesday morning updates: The elevator in the Jason Street parking garage is still closed for repairs, the men's restroom near the playground and picnic shelter at Greer City Park is closed for maintenance, and E. Poinsett St. is now fully open after repairs to some of the crosswalk lights.
Traffic notice: E. Poinsett St. from Trade to Cannon St. will be closed from 8 p.m. to midnight tonight for repairs to the crosswalk lights. Traffic will be diverted during this time.

Artist Adam Schrimmer from Blank Canvas (tag) is adding one of the final elements to the public art project: A badge celebrating 150 years of Greer.
It’s been a painstaking process over the past few weeks. Adam has been sketching and painting a scene of Greer in the 1940s while on a lift in the summer heat. The design is on the side of the old Davenport building at the intersection of Trade and Randall Streets.
