The Greer Police Department is ready to get spooky with this year's Trunk or Treat on Trade event.
Bring Your Ghouls and Goblins
The free community event will bring the Halloween spirit to downtown Greer on Sunday, October 25 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Greer first responders, businesses, and community organizations will be handing out candy for the pre-Halloween event along Trade and Depot Streets.
What to Expect
Even if you've been to a previous Trunk or Treat on Trade event, you just might find something new this year. In addition to hitting up all the trunks for candy and other treats, kids can check out touch-a-truck row along Depot Street. The City of Greer will have a fire truck, police vehicles, a dump truck, backhoe, and more set up for children to explore.
You can eat dinner downtown at one of our local restaurants before or after the event or stop by the food trucks in the parking lot at Trade and Depot Streets.
If 2026 is your first year to participate, check out our video below to see what's in store. Keep reading for more info on event parking and how you can help pick the winning trunks.
