Road Work Update: The planned closure on W. Phillips Rd. on Wednesday is no longer necessary. The team finished shoulder repairs a day early. That means W. Phillips will be fully open later this afternoon and stay that way.

Map shows the area of W. Phillips Rd. that will be closed on Oct. 6 & 7 from Gibb Shoals Rd. almost to the Twin Magnolia Dr. intersection. The closure hours are 7am to 4pm each day. Business access will be allowed from the S. Highway 14 side.
UPDATE: Both westbound lanes of E. Wade Hampton Boulevard toward Greenville are back open after a fire shut down the roadway at Biblebrook Dr. earlier this morning. One eastbound lane toward Spartanburg is now open, and the fire is out. Drivers can still expect delays in the area around SC Waste Management where the fire started around 9:00 this morning. Continue to avoid the area if you can, but if you have to go anywhere near there, please be patient and use extra caution.

PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT: Please continue to avoid the area of E. Wade Hampton Blvd. at Biblebrook Dr. and Valentine Ln. There was a fire at SC Waste Management earlier this morning. The fire is now out, but E. Wade Hampton is still shut down in both directions in this area. Use Arlington Rd. and Gap Creek Rd. as alternative routes.
