Cool down with thoughts of a winter wonderland tonight in Greer City Park.
Bring a blanket or chairs to get a taste of Christmas in July at Moonlight Movies. Pre-show activities begin at 6:00, and the Will Ferrell classic movie, Elf, starts at 7:00.
The activities and movie are free, but you might want to bring some money to enjoy Kona Ice and King of Fire Pizza who will be on site for the event.
If you’re lucky, you might just get a glimpse of Buddy the Elf. See you at the park.

It is a big week for the City of Greer’s sesquicentennial mural!
Artist Adam Schrimmer from Blank Canvas (tag) is adding one of the final elements to the public art project: A badge celebrating 150 years of Greer.
It’s been a painstaking process over the past few weeks. Adam has been sketching and painting a scene of Greer in the 1940s while on a lift in the summer heat. The design is on the side of the old Davenport building at the intersection of Trade and Randall Streets.
