Tunes in the Park is a free outdoor concert series held every summer in the Amphitheater at Greer City Park from 6-9 p.m. The event takes place one Saturday of each month during the summer. Admission is free, but you'll want to bring your own camping chairs or a picnic blanket. A few fantastic food, beverage, and dessert vendors will be on site, so come hungry and enjoy some great live music. Outside food/beverages are prohibited.

Greer Idol, established in 2007, is a singing competition open to vocalists in Upstate South Carolina. Contestants perform throughout the summer during Tunes in the Park in Greer City Park, and judges score them on Vocal Skills, Audience Appeal, and Stage Presence. Audience members can cast votes for their favorite performers, and votes are combined with the judge’s scores to declare an overall winner at the end of the competition. Cash prizes are awarded to First Place and Runner Up.
