Safety Alert

Pedestrians and drivers should use extra caution around the crosswalk on East Poinsett Street between Cannon and Depot Streets. The warning lights on the crosswalk that leads into Greer City Park are not working. Our team hopes to have them fixed sometime this week.
Downtown Mural Update
Work on the city's second mural project of the year is coming along nicely. Artist Adam Schrimmer of Blank Canvas Mural Company designed the public art piece that he's now painting on the side of The Great Bay Oyster House at the corner of Main and Poinsett Streets downtown.
Schrimmer is the same artist who designed and painted the Greer150 mural on the old Davenport building on Randall Street where it intersects with Trade. Check out our Behind the Brush profile video to hear from the artist himself.
