Event Details

When: Saturday, August 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Where: Randall Street by the Historic Greer Depot

What: Free outdoor concert and street festival

Why: To celebrate 150 years of Greer

Entertainment

Sweet Soul is a high energy party and dance band that plays the best of 60s and 70s soul music from Memphis to Motown. You will have a hard time staying in your chair and not singing along.

The stage will be at the intersection of Randall and Depot Streets. The band will go on stage at 6:30 p.m., take a quick break about halfway through the event, and come back on and play until 9:00 p.m.

Food vendors will be set up in the parking lot around the Historic Greer Depot.

Adult Beverages

Adult beverages will be available for purchase at the beer tent in the parking lot in front of the Historic Greer Depot courtesy of Greer Relief & Resources Agency.

Road Closures

Some downtown streets around the festival area will be closed starting at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29. Streets will reopen by 11:00 p.m. that evening. Please factor in the road closures as you plan your route to and from the festival. The main roads affected are Randall and Depot Streets.

Parking

The City of Greer has free downtown parking available on the streets, surface lots, and the Jason Street parking garage. Check out our downtown parking map. If you prefer to park and ride to the festival location, check out our free downtown shuttle service.

Restrooms

Portable restrooms will be available for public use in the parking lot around the Historic Greer Depot.
