This week's GreerView segment features a new downtown mural project, a new sponsor at the Prisma Health Performance Center, and info on the next Greer150 sesquicentennial celebration.

New Downtown Mural

The artist who painted the downtown Greer150 mural is back in the city working on a second project. Adam Schrimmer from Blank Canvas Mural Company used a projector to sketch the basic outline of the new mural on the side of The Great Bay Oyster House building at the intersection of North Main and East Poinsett Streets, but this weekend's rain washed some of it away. Adam will redraw the outline before beginning the painting.

Adam shared this picture of what it looked like when he was tracing the projected image on the side of the building last week.
