The Cheer for Greer program is a cheerleading initiative for girls ages 5 to 12. Participants cheer for the Greer youth football team during both home and away games. Practices typically occur on Tuesday and Thursday nights, offering a consistent schedule for the girls to develop their cheerleading skills. Game nights could be scheduled on any day from Monday to Thursday. The program helps girls learn team skills, showcase their enthusiasm, learn different cheers, basic tumbling, and dance routines, make lifelong friends, and support the football team.

Preseason camp begins in July, and games from August through November.

Participants in Cheer for Greer can be ages 5 through 12.

Cheerleading registration for 2026 runs from April through May and opens at different times depending on resident status:

• City of Greer Residents: Monday, April 6th through Sunday, May 3rd

• Open to EVERYONE: Monday, April 13th  through Sunday, May 3rd

• Uniform Sizing Date (if you paid for uniform): TBA

A wait list will be formed once the maximum number of registrants has been met for a specific age group.

Seasonal registration fees are as follows:

• City of Greer Resident: $30

• Non-Resident: $50

• Uniform Fee $175

Registration fees do not include a uniform. Uniform cost is $175 for 2026 season.
