Tackle football, part of a larger upstate municipal league offers a traditional football experience for youth. Practices and games are hosted at Greer City Stadium and other upstate fields five days a week. The program has seen substantial growth over the years, expanding from three teams with 80 participants six years ago to 25 teams with 340 participants this past fall. The tackle football season follows a similar schedule to flag football, with practices beginning in August and games running through September and October. Together, these football programs provide a balanced and engaging experience for participants, families, and the community.
