Employee Benefits
The City of Greer offers all full time employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families. Our benefits provide flexibility, financial security, and access to valuable resources to support your health, well-being, and overall quality of life.
Employee contributions for medical, dental, and vision premiums, flexible spending accounts (FSA), and retirement plans are deducted on a pre-tax basis. This allows employees to lower their taxable income and maximize take-home pay. Our goal is to provide you with the protection, support, and financial savings you deserve.
All core coverages, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and voluntary benefits become effective the first of the month following 30 days from the employee's hire date.
