Stormwater
The City of Greer's Stormwater Management Program, led by the Stormwater Division within the Engineering Department, is dedicated to protecting local waterways from pollutants caused by construction, industrial activities, and other sources. The team collaborates with city departments and government agencies while addressing public concerns about drainage issues.
Since stormwater runoff cannot be treated like sewage, preventing pollution at its source is essential. Through strong ordinances, public education, construction site oversight, and industrial inspections, the City’s stormwater team works to safeguard water quality and preserve it for future generations.
